Who’s Digging and Why?
JXN Water field crews will be in your area over the next week doing their part to look at the pipes bringing drinking water to your neighborhood. They will pothole using special equipment to remove the soil on a small area on top of a water service line so JXN Water can complete inspections. This is part of a proactive project to inform a citywide inventory of pipes in the water system.
Their work will not interrupt water service and does not trigger additional boil water alerts.
- The only actions we ask our neighbors to take are:
- Keep all dogs and animals inside when a field agent is on site.
- Allow field crew members, with proper IDs (example shown here), to access your property when necessary.
