JACKSON, Miss. – JXN Water announces a temporary road closure begins Tuesday, May 14, 2024 for water main transmission repairs. The closure will continue until the work is complete.

Location: Forest Avenue Extension

Details: JXN Water crews will be closing the road at Forest Avenue Extension from Methodist Home Road to Hilda Drive. Closure is expected to go through end of week.

Residents will need to access Hilda Drive from Highway 49 via Forest Ave Extension.

Drivers are reminded to slow down, avoid distractions and be on high alert for roadside workers during the closure.
