About JXN Water

JXN Water is changing for the better. JXN Water is a local Mississippi water utility that is run by an interim third-party manager, Ted Henifin (authorized by a federal court order) to reestablish water infrastructure, operations and put the Jackson Water system on a sustainable path forward.

Since Feb. 2023, JXN Water has repaired nearly 600 leaks and opened 400 closed valves. We’ve come a long way and we’re not done. We’ll continue improving to provide safe and reliable water and sewer services to all Jackson residents.
